Participants are responsible for purchasing the books for these courses. Books will not be available for purchase at the first class. Participants should order in advance and bring books to the first class.
 

Teacher/Candidate Prerequisites: 
Georgia Teacher Certification (valid, clear renewable certificate)
Currently employed by a Georgia school system
Two years successful teaching experience prior to enrolling in program
Recommendation from school system Professional Learning Coordinator and supervisor
A commitment to rigorous work

Registration Procedure for Gifted In-Field Endorsement and Reading Endorsement
*** Submit forms to Coastal Plains RESA. Do NOT mail forms to NWRESA!

1.Candidate submits the Endorsement Application*** form to the System PL Coordinator for approval. This form requires letters of recommendation from 2 supervisors. Read the application carefully for requirements.

2. Candidate completes the Teacher Candidate Dispositions Record.***

3. Candidate prints a current copy of his/her clear renewable Georgia teaching certificate.

4. Candidate submits the complete packet to the Professional Learning Coordinator at Coastal Plains RESA.

5. Attendance is mandatory at the first class meeting to be considered enrolled in the program. NO EXCEPTIONS!
