Day 2 of Growing Readers was all about deepening practice and growing together! 📚🌟 Participants from Brooks, Cook, Thomas, and Turner county school districts strengthened their understanding of explicit instruction, planned purposeful lessons, and practiced teaching with clear, actionable steps. They also designed small-group lessons tailored to student needs—and enjoyed plenty of fellowship along the way. A powerful day of learning, collaboration, and connection! 💙💚

On Wednesday, the CPRESA staff gathered to celebrate the retirement of Mr. Bobby Smith. With 5 decades of service in many different roles, Bobby is known state-wide for his work to improve outcomes for Georgia students, and the CPRESA districts especially have benefitted from his expertise. Bobby, we salute you! You are a legend in school improvement, a man who can make Excel do your bidding and data beg for mercy! You will be missed (but we still have your phone number)!
