I just presented at the Brooks County School District administrative retreat on practical applications of AI for school leaders. I have to say, this is the most unusual venue I've ever presented in! The Brooks County leaders are ready to go back to school with some tips for modeling appropriate AI use to their faculty and staff.

Regional Literacy Coaches from across Georgia recently came together for collaborative learning as part of the implementation of Georgia's House Bill 1193. Together with partners from the Georgia Department of Education, GOEWS, RESAs, and the Deal Center, coaches are strengthening literacy leadership, building educator capacity, and creating aligned systems that support confident readers across our state. We are excited to support our districts in this important work.🍎🍏

CPRESA specialists were proud to join Cook County educators at the 2026 GALA Literacy Summit, Literacy in Full: Science, Meaning, and Voice. The day provided valuable opportunities to learn, collaborate, and strengthen our commitment to evidence-based literacy instruction for all students. We are especially excited to support Cook County as they reestablish their local literacy council through GALA, helping build a strong network of educators and community partners dedicated to advancing literacy in their community.📚🌟

We were excited to host the Literacy Coach Network Cohort (LCN) Meeting today —an engaging day of collaboration and meaningful conversation. The Sandra Dunagan Deal Center, in partnership with the Georgia Department of Education, is empowering over 70 literacy coaches across Georgia through this two-year initiative. With ongoing training and support, the cohort continues to strengthen literacy coaching and student outcomes statewide.🌟📚
